Zoom-4 whitening: brighter in a single visit
Coffee, tea, spices, smoking and simply time gradually change the colour of enamel — the smile looks darker than it could. Popular home fixes — baking soda, whitening strips, abrasive pastes — work by wearing the enamel down and often end in sensitivity rather than whiteness.
Professional whitening works differently. Zoom-4 is a clinical system where the dentist controls every step: the condition of your enamel and gums before the procedure, the gel concentration, the exposure time and the final shade.
How the procedure works
- Examination and preparation. We check your enamel and gums; if there is plaque, we recommend professional hygiene first — the shade turns out more even on clean enamel.
- Soft-tissue protection. Gums and lips are isolated so the gel works on enamel only.
- Zoom-4 session, about 60 minutes. Several cycles of lamp-activated gel; the dentist monitors how you feel and adjusts the protocol if needed.
- Aftercare. A "white diet" for the first days and a routine that helps the result last.
Honest about the outcome
Whitening does not make teeth porcelain-fake — it removes accumulated pigments and brings back the enamel's lighter shade. The outcome is individual and depends on your starting colour, so we agree on a realistic target shade before the procedure, not after. Fillings and crowns do not whiten — if they sit in the smile zone, the dentist factors this into the plan.
Why Code Dental
We do not sell "Hollywood white at any cost". If your enamel currently needs hygiene or treatment more than whitening, we will say so and suggest starting there. The procedure is run by a doctor, not by a machine: control at every step is what makes it comfortable and predictable.
