Aligners: straight teeth without braces
"I want straight teeth, but braces are not for me" — this is how most conversations about adult orthodontics begin. Aligners are a series of clear trays that move your teeth into the right position step by step. They are barely visible, come off for meals and brushing, and do not ask you to change your everyday life.
How treatment works
- Diagnostics and a 3D plan. Digital scanning and virtual tooth setup: you see the final position and the treatment timeline before you start.
- A series of custom trays. Each aligner performs its own part of the movement; the doctor sets your individual wearing schedule at the consultation.
- Progress visits. The doctor determines the visit frequency individually and checks your progress against the plan.
- Retention. After treatment a retainer secures the result — without it, teeth tend to drift back.
Aligners vs braces — honestly
Aligners are discreet, comfortable and easy to keep clean, and the outcome is digitally planned in advance. But they demand discipline: trays only work while they are on your teeth. And they do not fit every case — some situations are better solved with braces. Diagnostics will show what suits you, and we will tell you straight.
Why Code Dental
Straight teeth are not only about looks: correct tooth position distributes the chewing load and often becomes the first stage before veneers or a smile makeover. We plan orthodontics digitally and manage your case from the first tray to the retainer in one place — with no unfinished stages.
